About the LDA
The London Development Agency is the Mayor’s agency and is responsible for improving London’s sustainable economic growth. The Mayor’s vision is “for London to be a sustainable world city with strong, long-term economic growth, social inclusion and active environmental improvement”.
This vision is set out in the Mayor’s Economic Development Strategy which encompasses four themes and provides the context for the LDA’s work:
- Investment in places and infrastructure
- Investment in people
- Investment in enterprise
- Investment in marketing and promotion
