Welcome to the ESF Capacity building website which has been made possible with funding from the London Development Agency (LDA) co-financed by the European Social Fund.
London is a global success story, whose vibrancy, cultural diversity, heritage and dynamism are vital to its continued status as a world-class city. There is a clear need for the LDA in collaboration with partners in the public, private and third sectors to work together to continue to deliver sustainable economic growth in the capital.
The LDA adds strategic value by bringing together the relevant agencies and partners, using its regional leadership, influencing and brokerage role. With strategic investment where required we are able to secure strong partnerships and target areas of greatest need and opportunity to address market failure.
We support organisations either directly with funding or via intermediaries who deliver strategic programmes or projects on our behalf, attracting private and other public sector leverage through our partnership working.
We hope that this website will become one of your most important sources of support, just one example of the targeted regional initiatives we are funding to achieve the Mayor’s economic development objectives.
